So, I might have mentioned that I bought an olive tree. A sweet olive tree. It smells wonderful, like a better jasmine and I am horribly allergic to it.
I had to cut the tiny blooms off and put them in the garage.
And in case you might have missed a small, tiny fact about me is I either over research things or do no research at all until 'after'. This is very much an After because I mistakenly assumed olive as in food. Which this doesn't do.
This tree is also called a tea olive tree or false holly. It apparently like moist well drained soil. My google searches are filled with statements like that. From what I can tell it doesn't make edible fruits. Oops.
If I did get lucky and it really is a slow growing plant, then I know I can find a spot for it in my house. I'll just keep trimming the blooms for now.
